It also allows her to perform Kurukuru La Mer Stream. The Mermaid Aqua Pact can be used by Laura to transform whenever she inserts her Heart Kuru Ring to open it. When battling the Zettai Yaraneeda, the pact glows again, turning the Perfume Shiny Brace into the Perfume Shiny Ring and allowing La Mer to perform Ocean Bubble Shower for the first time. This allows Laura to find and obtain this item. In episode 22, while Laura is separated from the group, the pact reacts to the Perfume Shiny Brace located in a cave on Minamino Island. Later, it reacted to Laura's desire to save her friends, allowing her to transform into Cure La Mer. In episode 17, the Mermaid Queen gave Laura the Mermaid Aqua Pact in the form of an old petrified pact.

The pact also comes with a purple pen with a blue-crystal tip for Laura to use during the transformation and attack. A large crystal dial resides in the middle of the pact, which is spun during use. When opened, the pact flicks open to reveal a pale purple base with cyan designs and silver hearts on the right side.
A large light purple keyhole decorated by a pink bow is at the top for Heart Kuru Rings to be inserted in, with a blue crystal holding the pact together. The Mermaid Aqua Pact resembles a peach-coloured seashell with pale pink and marine-blue edging resembling waves, as well as pink and yellow stars on the top.
